I'm on day three of the generic Wellbutrin XL. I thought it was a bug but now I'm questioning whether or not its burnout from my meds. I do have dry mouth and throat, but never put 2 and 2 together that it was caused by the wellbutrin. She became nasty and paranoid while on it. But I gave it another try recently, this time with Wellbutrin XL: by and large, it works! The therapeutic effects don't feel quite as "complete", for lack of a better term, when compared to the SSRI's I have taken but I don't have any sexual side effects from it either. At least 14 days should elapse between discontinuation of an MAO inhibitor and initiation of treatment with Wellbutrin. It bothers me when I'm lonely now never did until I started taking this medicine thats the only thing that makes me sad.

I started on Wellbutrin XL four and a half weeks ago. I've been on and off different antidepressants like Zoloft, Effexor and the last one I tried was Lexapro, which didn't seem to help me at all.
